About Me

Born in Portugal and raised bilingual in Portuguese and German, I naturally grew into English as both a working and everyday language, especially while supporting international teams and productions.

Live events have always been my passion.
Over the years, I’ve worked in different roles across the industry, including video engineering, show calling and stage management, always with the same focus: helping each show feel seamless and run with precision.

I approach every project with care, attention to detail and a steady presence. I support media systems, coordinate cueing and help maintain clarity behind the scenes, always aligned with the creative vision and the people behind it.

Most of my work happens backstage, and that’s exactly where I feel most at home.

How I Support the Show

01

Video

My work on video systems centres on operation for live events, ensuring that switching, cueing and visual consistency stay on track from setup to showtime.

I transitioned from Barco’s Folsom Encore to the Event Master Series and also operate Analog Way’s LiveCore and LivePremier systems.

For multi-display playback, I work with tools like Dataton Watchout, Resolume Arena, Millumin, PlaybackPro and Mitti, depending on the needs of each production.

I handle large-scale video projection as well, including mapping and edge blending, using Barco, Christie and Panasonic projectors - taking care of alignment, signal flow and on-site calibration as part of a complete system delivery.

I also work as a graphics operator, supporting presentations in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides - an essential part of clear corporate delivery.

Throughout the years, I’ve supported productions of various sizes, from arena shows to corporate launches, and regularly collaborate with broadcast teams on live television formats, adapting to the pace and demands of the show.

02

Show Calling

I call shows with a focus on flow, clarity and communication. With a technical background in video systems and a solid understanding of how each department operates, I help ensure cue consistency and keep teams aligned throughout the entire production.

I’m used to working across different formats, from corporate conventions to live broadcast shows, and move easily between creative and technical teams. I often get involved early in the process, helping define the run of show and coordinating media delivery so that every asset is in place.

My goal is always to support the project’s creative vision by bringing structure, calm and precise timing where it matters most.

03

Stage Management

In corporate shows I work as stage manager or assistant stage manager, making sure presenters, props and stage elements are where they need to be, when they need to be. Many of these events include speakers who aren’t used to being on stage, so part of my role is also to provide direction, reassurance and calm before they step into the spotlight. I also coordinate closely with performers, dancers and acrobats to support timing and transitions backstage.

As a production stage manager I support larger productions by working closely with show callers, technical crews and stage management teams to keep everything flowing behind the scenes - from rehearsals to curtain call.

Backstage may not be glamorous, but it’s where the real magic begins.
