The 2021 edition of Building The Future, built by iMatch and sponsored by Microsoft, took place under the constraints of the pandemic. This required a complete rethink of format and workflow. Produced by STORM with technical delivery by Hipnose, the event was delivered as a live stream, combining in-venue LED wall management with dynamic streaming composition.
In 2022, with the pandemic still shaping the format, the production moved to Teatro Capitólio. The need for a visually striking solution for the streamed event led to the introduction of a carbon screen, used to project the holographic content that became the visual signature of the show.
I was involved in both editions, responsible for the video system architecture and the operation of the Barco E2. Across these projects, I routed, programmed, and managed every signal from stage visuals to the broadcast feed, delivering a seamless integration between the physical stage and the virtual audience through precise system design and real-time operation.
